A satin finished pale, translucent New Zealand jade or pounamu Koru pendant by talented carver Shaun Gardiner.  It is carved from South Westland Totoweka stone.  

It includes an adjustable waxed braid cord, a traditional-style woven presentation pouch and a detailed description of the meaning of the carving.
